Blog Post #7: Post Cards

 For my short film, I will have to use a post card to advertise my short film. So, I will research some common post cards to see during a festival. 

Here are some of the post cards that I found online:

Summary: 

Most of these post cards show their credibility along with a title, the director's name, a picture of something related to the film, and a short summary about the film or a review from an audience member. 

I believe that the academy awards for the films will allow for an intrigue in audience members, drawing attention due to how good the movies are. Also, the director's name being mentioned gives them credibility and some audiences may look up and research the director's for themselves. The reviews included from specific audience members can also persuade audiences to watch the short film and engage with it. 

The purpose to persuade audiences is incredibly strong, since these post cards include almost everything that would draw a person in. In my post card, I will make sure to input ratings from viewers, a review, and some academy awards as well as a photo of my film.
