Since I need to complete my post card as a minor task, I will create the back side of my post card.
Like other common post cards for short films, the back side has details of where the correct address is, who it was sent to, it has a stamp on it, and I will obviously create my own personal touch to it.
Here are a few examples of the back of post cards:
Like clockwork, I will be using Canva to create the back of my post card.
Here is my process with explanations below:
As you can see, I set up my post card design. I included the title of my production studios, I used the logo for my production company, and included the usual format of post cards with the lines and stamp placeholder.
Then, since I needed to know the location for the short film festival based in Florida, I used this article from Miami Short Film Festival.
Then, after using the location for the event in my post card, I used a post office stamp, an actual sticker stamp on the side, and the award that my short film had gotten from a separate festival.
Overall, the back of my post card may not seem like much, but it's influential towards my target audiences. Because the back of the post card matches the same vibe that the front has, along with multiple other elements that may come of interest, audiences will be interested in seeing my short film.
